Samsung already has many different ranges of smartphones, with the ‘Galaxy’ brand cementing all the Android smartphones and the ATIV brand for all things Windows. The company splits the brands into specific lines, like the Galaxy S, Note, Mega, Ace, Grand and so on and so forth.

The South Korean electronics giant may be preparing a new higher-end smartphone line, called the Galaxy F. The Galaxy S and Note line are both pretty high end, with competitive prices against the HTC One and iPhone 5S, but Samsung believes with a new design aesthetic comes a new name.

According to rumors, the Galaxy F will be packed with a octa-core CPU, most likely the Exynos 5 made by Samsung, the phone will also feature 3GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a Triluminous display with 500ppi and 16MP camera with OIS.

Samsung will also ditch the plastic shell in favor of an more luxurious full metal back and side, similar to the iPhone 5S and HTC One. This will be where Samsung can officially say they do not have the worst quality smartphones on the market and people believe them.

TouchWiz will still run on the smartphone as it does with almost every other Samsung device, lowering our excitement for the device. The phone is set to come with Android 4.2 oddly, although we believe Samsung will push it to Android KitKat 4.4 before release.
